Every HŪG piece is made by hand, start to finish, by the two of us. That means every piece can also be made for you.

Standard finishes

Each design is offered in our standard clay bodies (Brown or Black) and glazes (Snow, Oil or Crimson), and in Walnut or Oak where a piece includes wood. You can order any of these directly from the collection.

Custom work

Looking for something beyond our standard range? We welcome custom glazes, colors matched to your space, alternative woods, and adjusted dimensions for a specific room or project. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.

How it works

1. Get in touch. Send us the piece you're interested in and what you'd like to change. Photos, swatches or references are welcome.

2. We develop it together. For custom glazes, we test and fire samples and share the results with you before we begin.

3. We make your piece. Once you approve, we throw, glaze and fire it by hand in our studio in Switzerland.

Because custom pieces are developed individually, pricing and timing depend on the request. We'll confirm both before any work begins.
