HŪG is a ceramic studio based between Los Angeles and Switzerland, creating sculptural furniture and lighting with a focus on form, contrast, and restraint.

Our work is rooted in minimalism—not as a trend, but as a lens for clarity. We explore how shape, surface, and space interact, often through subtraction: what’s carved away, left raw, or purposefully unresolved. Tension, imperfection, and negative space are as vital to us as precision and refinement.
